Our Online store is proving of great interest to specialist panel builders and when it comes to control cabinets or server cabinets with large doors then multi-point locking is generally required for security and protection purposes – so we have incorporated a great selection of cabinet locking rods and rod latches into our ex-stock program just a click away. 

We have a wide range of round rods in steel and stainless steel, with fixing eyes or rollers. In addition we have flat rods available to order- so please contact us.

The EFR-1 is part of our wide range of low cost, high specification RCDs designed for the specialist panel builder and is ideal for general purpose, low current applications where space and economy are important considerations.

The EFR-1 is housed in a Single Module Din Rail Housing complete with integral test button and screw clamp terminals to simplify connection. It is available in 110V and 240V versions with a choice of pre-set current and time trip levels from 20mA to 500mA: instantaneous. With 60Ms and 300mS time delays also available to order. It can be connected to operate a shunt trip, UVR, or contactor coil. Flying leads for remote test facility are also available to special order.

It is supplied as standard for operation at frequencies 50/60 Hz but is also available to order at 300/400 Hz. The fully encapsulated construction provides excellent temperature stability, together with immunity against shock and vibration. Despite its compact size (only 17.5mm wide), the EFR-1 can be used with any of our remote C.T.’s with internal diameters ranging from 16mm to 250mm.

With 37 sections of sealing profile now available at our Online store we think that customers will find most of what they need quickly and from stock – and we continue to add more standard types for enclosure and cabinet door sealing and for inspection windows. Currently we have 4-lip sections, corner adapters, edge protectors, EPDM, window sections with filler strips, NBR, polyamide, PVC, Neoprene, self adhesive foam, and plain window sealing sections.

We are pleased to announce availability of our popular torpedo hinge in a “Black” version.

These torpedo-style hinges are widely used in traditional chrome plated finish for electrical cabinets and enclosures, allowing doors to be quickly mounted or removed from frames.

The new FDB “Black” version is both aesthetically pleasing and offers good corrosion resistance in normal industrial environments with the added benefit of a significant price point reduction.

The FDB “Black” torpedo hinge is manufactured in die cast zinc alloy with a 10mm stainless steel pin – rig tests have shown that two hinges on a 1m frame comfortably carried a 60kg load (equivalent to 60NM (3.43KN). It is available from our Online store as are many other hinges, locks and handles, together with power and earth protection products from FDB Electrical.

Our new IP65 PHZ 6-500 compression latch was developed to minimise attack points for prying tools – so is considered vandalism safe – while integrating seamlessly into virtually any enclosure design. It is therefore considered suitable for protection of integrated electronics and other equipment from being damaged by weather or vandalism, particularly in publicly accessible areas for enclosures of automated equipment such as advertising boards or vehicle electrical charging stations which require a secure and very inconspicuous latch.

The PHZ 6-500 features a patented planetary roller clamping mechanism which is operated using the lock key alone, but manages to offer a full 20mm closure range with 1300N force. Installation is completely within the enclosure and on larger cabinets is ideally suited to operation of a flat rod multi-point locking mechanism.

A surface mounting lock cover is available which can be colour matched to the enclosure if required.

The finished toolboxes with inflatable pneumatic tyred wheels have in-built power distribution for laptops, telemetry and power tools and are suitable for bike and car service engineers in speedway, grass track, scrambling, autocross, rallying etc. The flexibility of the Rocfast product pack also aids Argon Welding in production of custom boxes in sponsor configurations where required.
